  • Programmable Power Sources AC+DC 3kVA ~ 67kVA

    Programmable Power Sources AC+DC 3kVA ~ 67kVA | N4A

    R678,788.00R3,411,081.00 ex vat

    Programmable Power Sources - Overview

    The N4A range of Programmable AC Power Sources offers complete flexibility for a wide range of applications. All N4A sources feature dual-channel arbitrary waveform generators utilising direct digital synthesis, providing the user with simultaneous multiple harmonic generations, frequency sweeping, and long sequencing capabilities. The metrology of the arbitrary generator permits long custom waveform sequences to be produced without a reduction in the resolution of each waveform. The N4A AC Source also features a 10-bit vertical resolution and a maximum waveform resolution of 16,384 points to produce a single periodic waveform. There is also an internal storage function for imported custom waveforms featuring user-intuitive library menus that display the waveform graphically on the display.

    The N4A AC power sources feature an extremely flexible waveform generator capable of mathematical waveform generation, data point waveform upload, and many sequencing functions. Traditionally, switching topologies have struggled to provide total harmonic distortion (THD) figures below 2%. The N4A “6-legged topology” provides less than 0.3% THD and typically 0.1%, the N4A range of AC Power Sources should be considered the best value power generator on the market. Ranging from the N4A06 6kVA model (300Vrms, 20A) to the N4A67 67kVA model (67kVA, 75A /phase) – the N4A will suit a wide range of applications including;

    Power Analyser PPA1500 - Overview

    The PPA1500 Power Analyser offers higher performance compared to its sibling – the PPA500 unit.  N4L power analysers provide optimum solutions in almost any power measurement application and budget. The PPA1500 offers a 1Mhz Bandwidth and full graphic display, this includes harmonic bar graphs and graphic data logging. It features sophisticated parallel digital filtering algorithms enabling the PPA1500 to be used in various Pulse Width Modulated applications.

    While being only half-rack width and 2U high, the PPA1500 is available in 1, 2 or 3-phase configurations and offers a level of performance normally found only in larger and more costly instruments. With modes such as “Inrush Current and “Standby Power”, the PPA1500 provides fast, accurate and easy measurements in challenging environments.

    The PPA1500 series analysers now have a 6 Phase 2U Rack option in which two PPA1530 units are installed on the same rack side by side to give the ability to perform 6 Phase 0.1% accurate power measurement whilst only occupying a height of 2U in any rack.

    All PPA1500 units are supplied with UKAS ISO17025 certification as standard, this is performed at N4L in the UK in our accredited ISO17025 Laboratory.
