Bitumen Insulation Adhesion Tester - Overview

The SM-1M is a device for measuring the adhesion value of bitumen pipe insulation and other insulating coatings which are bitumen-based. It is a mechanical device which determines the adhesion value quality and quantity by measuring the strength of the bitumen insulation sticking to the surface of the pipeline. It allows users to take measurements during testing, planned inspections of steel structures and pipelines, and after performing the repairs. The device can be used in the field and in the laboratory.

    Coating Thickness Gauge - Overview

The TP-1M Coating Thickness Gauge is a thickness gauge for measuring the thickness of various coatings on metals. With specialised probes connected to the device, the user can measure the temperature and humidity of the air, and surface temperature, calculate the dew point, and also measure the depth of grooves or surface roughness. This device is very easy to use as it is ready to use right out of the box and does not require special user skills. The minimum number of buttons and an intuitive menu makes it an ideal device for non-destructive measurement of the thickness of almost any coating with high accuracy.

    Coating Thickness Gauge - Features

    • Large coating thickness measurement range
    • Convenience and ease in operation
    • Shockproof case
    • Minimum number of controls: one button – one function
    • Backlit Graphic display
    • Automatic recognition of probe
    • Indication of the connected probe type

    Pulse Holiday Detector - Overview

The Pulse Holiday Detector SPARK-1 is a device used for detecting defects such as thinning, micro holes, and cracks in dielectric coatings on metals. The principle of operation is based on the electro-spark method. A probe with an electrode connected to one pole of the voltage source scans the surface of the tested object directly along with the coating. The second pole of the voltage source from the ground connector is connected directly to the metal structure. The electronic unit fixes the gaps by the voltage between the electrode and the conductive base.
