Clamp Thermal Mass Flow Meter – Overview

This one-of-a-kind mass flow meter is popular in industrial applications because of its design and build. It has no moving parts, a nearly unobstructed flow path and requires no temperature or pressure corrections. It is not affected by vibration on the measurement accuracy. It has good seismic performance and high measurement reliability. It also retains accuracy over a wide range of flow rates. Straight pipe runs can be reduced by using dual-plate flow conditioning elements. Installation and use are easy with minimal pipe intrusions. Mass flow meter sizes range from DN15~DN100mm. Its sensitivity is suitable for low flow rate measurement.  Applications include single or fixed gas flow measurements. It measures gas with flow velocity from 100Nm/s to 0.1Nm/s. The flow meter can also be used for gas leak detection.  It supports multiple communication methods, such as RS485 and MODBUS protocol for factory automation and integration.
