This wood moisture meter is an easy-to-use instrument to measure wood moisture. Depending on the kind of wood, the needles can be pushed up to 5 mm into the log.
This instrument measures the moisture of wood in conformance with applicable standards. The instrument automatically recognises if a probe is connected to measure the moisture of firewood logs or bulk materials. It switches to the corresponding menu and assists the measurement process with straightforward information. This guarantees the measurement conforms to the specifications contained in VDI 4206, Part 4, with very little effort.
This moisture meter is ideal for measuring moisture in wood and building materials. It utelises the electrical resistance measuring technique and dielectric measurement to get accurate moisture readings. Suitable for use in building diagnostics: damage analysis, leak detection; building work: preparatory measurements before applying paint, installing floor coverings etc.; fuel management: assessing wood fuel materials, building and wood moisture.
