  • Venturi Inline Air Flow Transmitter FDM08

Venturi Inline Air Flow Transmitter | FDM08

Price range: R20,762.00 through R34,611.00 ex vat

Venturi Inline Air Flow Transmitter - Overview

The Venturi technology provides a more stable and reliable solution for air flow measurement. The unique design ensures more accurate measurement data. It is suitable for use with general gases, vapours, polluted gases, or high-humidity gases. There are no moving or electronic parts inside the pipeline resulting in long-term stability. It uses shorter front and rear straight pipe sections compared to other standard throttling devices (approximately 2.5D in the front and 2D in the rear). It is also designed to minimise pressure loss in the pipeline, reducing fluid kinetic energy loss.

Thermocouple Thermal Resistance Temperature Sensors | RTD/TC

Thermocouple Thermal Resistance Temperature Sensors - Overview

Thermocouple (T/C) Thermocouple sensors are made from two wires. Each wire is a different type of metal. These are then welded together to form a measuring/hot junction. This junction and the wires are usually enclosed in a protective metal tube which is inserted into the medium where the temperature is to be measured. The opposite end of the two wires is also joined, and that point is known as the cold junction. As the temperature at the measuring junction changes, thermal current movement occurs between the hot and cold junctions, generating an electron flow. The measurement of this electron flow can then be referenced to a formula, which converts the reading to °C or °F.  The thermal current motion of a thermocouple relates directly to the types of wires used.

RTD platinum resistance: is a sensor whose resistance changes as its temperature changes. The resistance increases as the temperature of the sensor increases. The resistance vs temperature correlation is well established and is repeatable over time. The temperature is measured with the resistance of pure metal wires, and the resistance increases at a fixed ratio as the temperature increases. Resistance thermometers are made of platinum, nickel, or copper - with platinum being more commonly used because of its stability and reproducibility.

Thermocouple thermal resistance temperature sensor specifications and sizes can be customized according to different needs.

  • Gas Combustion Analyser | Enerac 700

    Gas Combustion Analyser - Overview

This portable combustion analyser is perfect for gathering extremely accurate and reliable data for internal needs as well as for the necessary emissions reporting requirements. All Model 700 Base Units come complete and measure O2 (Oxygen) and CO (Carbon Monoxide). The Enerac Model 700 is hand-held, weighs 2.8kg and is easy to operate with no technical expertise needed. The Model 700 units are rugged, made with a metal case which can withstand years of use. Affordable, accurate, reliable, and sophisticated. Enerac custom builds all units and can engineer sensor ranges and options to customer requirements for their respective applications. The back of the unit has easy thumb screws to remove the backplate to easily replace sensors. It can also be field calibrated without having to send it back to the factory. It is fully upgradeable as one can order new sensors and options to the same unit over time.

The Model 700 also has a standard sample conditioning system (thermoelectric condenser also called a Peltier cooler) necessary for the proper detection and measurement of both NO2 and/or SO2 gases. The Model 700 also has proper control over the NO sensor's tendency to drift over time with increasing ambient temperatures. The Enerac Model 700’s NO SEM sensor incorporates a proprietary temperature control system designed to automatically hold the nominal filter and sensor temperatures at <30 degrees C. This ultimately prevents rising measurement data drift and maintains the actual lower readings of the NO (NOx). This in turn prevents one from overstating one’s NO (NOx) emissions. The Enerac Model 700 combines high-quality tubing (Viton hose with its specific dimensions and flow rate) along with an accurate and reliable conditioning system (Peltier cooler) with the additional benefits of the extremely accurate SEM sensors.

The Enerac Model 700 comes with 500 internal storage buffers for storing collected data during a testing event. With Enerac’s free Enercom software, one can use it during the testing event or download the stored data at a later date. There is a RS 232 port, USB port and Bluetooth for communicating with your computer.

It is one of the most accurate and reliable portable combustion emission analysers in the world.
