  • Portable Multigas Analyser Rapidox 5100

Portable Multigas Analyser | Rapidox 5100

    Portable Multigas Analyser - Overview

The Rapidox 5100 Multigas Analyser is a high-spec portable instrument designed for analysing, controlling and monitoring gas in a wide range of applications. This includes biogas, syngas, anaerobic digestion and the fermentation processes. Up to six gases are simultaneously measured using a range of high-precision gas sensors. Each sensor is specially designed and calibrated to avoid cross-interference with background process gas. Safety is ensured by flashback arrestors in the gas measuring circuit where required. Measurable gases include O2, CO, CO2, O3, H2O, H2, H2S), NO, NO2), N2O, SO2, Cl2, CH4 and C2H4. When configured for applications where the gases contain energy (e.g. Biogas, Syngas) the calorific value of the gas sample is determined using thermodynamic calculations and logged and displayed onscreen. For samples taken from a gas source at atmospheric pressure or below, the pump is activated to draw a sample through the analyser. Alternatively, the pump can be deactivated when sampling from a source at a greater atmospheric pressure, allowing the gas to flow through the analyser. Gas flow is regulated manually via a rotary knob on the fascia and displayed electronically on the screen.

  • Rapidox SF6 6100 Portable Gas Analyser

    Portable SF6 analysers - Overview

The Rapidox SF6 6100 Portable tests the quality of SF6 in MV & HV gas insulated electrical equipment. The analyser is pre-programmed with all current IEC and CIGRE test configurations.  It can create customised test parameters. Exceptional accuracy and stability are provided when measuring the purity of SF6 gas, through specially selected sensors. An output nozzle allows for the analyser to be attached to the Rapidox Gas Recovery Bag, ensuring that all sampled SF6 gas is recovered. For the power transmission and distribution network, SF6 technology remains essential. To protect personnel, equipment and the environment regular SF6 analysis should be adopted within the maintenance schedule. The early identification of any decomposition products and moisture within the SF6 gas will help avoid unnecessary shutdowns, outages and failures, and reduce maintenance expenditures.

The modular configuration allows for up to eight compatible gases to be analysed simultaneously with one analyser.  Internal SF6 gas pressure is recorded and logged by the analyser. All measured gases are analysed and data-logged simultaneously with only a few minutes required to achieve a stable reading. To accelerate the time taken in-between dew point readings, a unique Rapidri system is fitted to analysers measuring H2O. When not in use the sensor can be isolated via the ‘Run – Storage’ valve.

Other measurable gases include H2O (dew point), SO2, HF, O2 & CF4. Due to the instrument's modular design, several configurations are available to suit a variety of application requirements.

  • Gas Combustion Analyser | Enerac 700

    Gas Combustion Analyser - Overview

This portable combustion analyser is perfect for gathering extremely accurate and reliable data for internal needs as well as for the necessary emissions reporting requirements. All Model 700 Base Units come complete and measure O2 (Oxygen) and CO (Carbon Monoxide). The Enerac Model 700 is hand-held, weighs 2.8kg and is easy to operate with no technical expertise needed. The Model 700 units are rugged, made with a metal case which can withstand years of use. Affordable, accurate, reliable, and sophisticated. Enerac custom builds all units and can engineer sensor ranges and options to customer requirements for their respective applications. The back of the unit has easy thumb screws to remove the backplate to easily replace sensors. It can also be field calibrated without having to send it back to the factory. It is fully upgradeable as one can order new sensors and options to the same unit over time.

The Model 700 also has a standard sample conditioning system (thermoelectric condenser also called a Peltier cooler) necessary for the proper detection and measurement of both NO2 and/or SO2 gases. The Model 700 also has proper control over the NO sensor's tendency to drift over time with increasing ambient temperatures. The Enerac Model 700’s NO SEM sensor incorporates a proprietary temperature control system designed to automatically hold the nominal filter and sensor temperatures at <30 degrees C. This ultimately prevents rising measurement data drift and maintains the actual lower readings of the NO (NOx). This in turn prevents one from overstating one’s NO (NOx) emissions. The Enerac Model 700 combines high-quality tubing (Viton hose with its specific dimensions and flow rate) along with an accurate and reliable conditioning system (Peltier cooler) with the additional benefits of the extremely accurate SEM sensors.

The Enerac Model 700 comes with 500 internal storage buffers for storing collected data during a testing event. With Enerac’s free Enercom software, one can use it during the testing event or download the stored data at a later date. There is a RS 232 port, USB port and Bluetooth for communicating with your computer.

It is one of the most accurate and reliable portable combustion emission analysers in the world.
