    Power Quality Analyzer - Overview

    PQM4000 is a high-end power quality analyzer, able to monitor and record major power quality parameters. It provides accurate measurement, voltage, and current characteristics are monitored according to Class A specifications. At the same time, it acts as an event/fault recorder, capable to store a high number of voltage events and disturbances, frequency variations, inrush current, etc. Additional PQ data can record Flicker, Unbalance, Harmonics,  Inter-harmonics, and Mains Signaling. It also provides standard power measurement data for three-phase systems.

    Extra voltage and current measurement channels give the possibility to monitor Neutral Potential and Earth Leakage current. The PQM4000 is available in 2 models: one for external CTs with 1 or 5A inputs and another one for current clamps with 1 or 3V inputs. In this way, maximum flexibility is granted even to existing plants.

    The powerful recording features give the possibility to capture and record all types of standard and PQ data simultaneously. All this information can be recorded for a long period due to the high memory capacity. This way a complete EN 50160 analysis can be performed. Events and disturbances also provide waveform recording together with RMS values. Recordings can be transferred in different ways: users can download them directly through a web interface, or an automatic data upload can be scheduled to a remote server. Alternatively, data can be transferred to a USB flash drive.

    High-Performance PPA3500 up to 8-Phases Power Analysis Overview

    The PPA3500 is a high accuracy 3~6 phase power analyzer able to perform reliable, accurate power analysis in a variety of applications. DUT to innovative analogue card design, the PPA3500 is packaged in a compact 2U chassis. The PPA3500 is available in 3, 4, 5 or 6-phase configurations. The PPA3500 power analyzer benefits from a full colour “Dual” TFT display, this concept employs two TFT displays within one instrument, allowing for a large widescreen display area in a 2U form factor. There is also the option to install the unit in a 19"| rack providing a 2U 6 Phase solution, see accessories for more details.

    Proprietary Technology featuring the industry-renowned planar shunt technology (A shunt design topology developed by N4L) and FPGA based real-time no-gap analysis techniques, the PPA3500 is able to provide groundbreaking 6-phase analysis performance. Real-Time no gap analysis ensures efficiency measurements are entirely synchronized between input and output.

    All PPA3500 units are supplied with UKAS ISO17025 certification as standard, this is performed at N4L in the UK in our accredited ISO17025 Laboratory.

It can also act as an event/fault recorder, capable of storing a high number of voltage events and disturbances, frequency variations, inrush current, etc. Additional PQ data can be recorded, such as Flicker, Unbalance, Harmonics and Interharmonics, and Mains Signalling. It also provides standard power measurement data for three-phase systems. Extra voltage and current measurement channels allow additional monitoring of Neutral Potential and Earth Leakage current.

Recordings can be transferred directly through a web interface or set as an automatic scheduled data upload to a remote server.

    PQM3000 includes different communication ports so the user can access them in different ways. The Ethernet ports on the front and rear panels allow complete control on the instrument such as web access for real-time monitoring, device setup, stored data transfer, and maintenance operations. The external mobile network router gives the possibility to manage the device via a 4G network if the Ethernet communication is not available (router sold separately). The RS485 port is dedicated to the data reading of PQMGPS1, i.e. the external GPS module provided with the instrument. PQMGPS1 provides accurate time information regardless of the location of the installation in a distributed monitoring system.

    Moreover, different I/O channels are provided to enhance the instrument features. A user-friendly multilingual interface is provided for the webserver which simplifies access to instrument functions.
