Electrical Installation Multi-function Meter - Overview

The Electrical Installation Multi-function Meter MPI-530 is an instrument for electric shock protection measurements. It includes the option of various earthing and earthing resistance measuring methods. Additionally, the meter enables its user to analyse power supply parameters, and record and display them on its screen. The instrument automatically measures the insulation resistance in a socket and 3 -, 4 - and 5-wire cables when used with an AutoISO-1000C adapter. Measurement results may be continuously verified, depending on the user’s demand or according to binding regulations. The memory of the instrument may store tens of thousands of measurements allowing users to store them in a structure of a protocol and describe individual measurement points.

Electrical Installation Multi-function Meter - Overview

The MPI-535 meter is designed for checking industrial and home electrical installations. The measurements taken by the device, determine the safety of the installation. In addition, the user has the option to register the parameters of electrical networks located at these facilities. This allows for the measurement of the parameters of protection against electric shock using a single universal device while verifying the quality of electricity. The Auto mode allows significant automation of measurements of the meter and makes it possible to test the functioning of residual current circuit breakers, as well as in pre-programmed measuring sequences, which can be extended with their own sequences. Automatic measurement of insulation resistance of 3-, 4- and 5-wire conductors is possible by using an additional AUTO ISO-1000C adapter.

The Test PD is a compact, portable device for the effective testing of cable heads and cable joints under a voltage of 6 kV and higher. The device is easy to use and has an advanced system integrated into its software, which allows the user to quickly evaluate the condition of the analysed object. This makes the device user-friendly for service personnel as it doesn't require special training. To test a cable joint, switch on Test PD, install it on an insulating stick and bring it close to the tested object. The information about the current joint condition will be immediately displayed in the form of 4-colour histograms and a cross-section of the high voltage cable. The Sonel TestPD mobile application for Android devices allows for remote reading of the instrument’s indications.
