Zelisko was founded in 1918 by Dr. techn. Josef Zelisko as individual enterprise in Mödling. The technological long-term thinking and the inventiveness of the company’s founder formed the basis of the enterprise’s success. The focus was  on inventions and new product development made-to customers orders. The Dr. techn. Josef Zelisko, Fabrik für Elektrotechnik und Maschinenbau GmbH forms part of the Knorr-Bremse group since 1988.

In Mödling, where the company was founded, Zelisko develops, produces and sells traffic management systems, signal systems and instrument transformers.

The company is characterised by its innovative power and developments which are perfectly designed for individual requirements of customers. Zelisko’s high quality products have world wide customers in the installation of switch gears, as well as in the energy industry with road and train operators.

What does Zelisko do?

Zelisko makes a range of instrument transformers CT and VTS which are free of maintenance, dry-type and suitable for installation in any position possible. The excellent product quality provides best insulation, great mechanical strength and high arc and temperature stability.They are subject to a routine test according to the respective standards (e.g. DIN VDE, IEC, ANSI, GOST…).
